ABOUT OUR PROJECT

What is "Building the Future With AI"?

This project is an Erasmus+ KA2 cooperation partnership bringing together organisations from Spain, Portugal and Italy.

The project aims to:

Understand how AI is currently used in youth work

Identify ethical challenges and skill gaps

Develop a practical free-to-use AI Toolkit

Create training course for youth workers

WHY THIS PROJECT MATTERS?

Why AI in Youth Work?

🤖 Young people use AI daily

Chatbots and generative tools are already part of education and decision-making.

⚠️ Risks are growing

Deepfakes, misinformation, emotional dependency and inequality require urgent attention.

🎯 We need ethical, human-centred guidance

AI must be integrated responsibly, inclusively and transparently.

📉 Youth workers are not fully prepared

There is a clear gap between youth AI usage and institutional readiness.

ONG's INVOLVED

International cooperation

What we are doing?

ONG's from Portugal, Spain and Italy are working together in 3 main working packages:

1. Research (WP2)

We conducted a research phase composed of:

- literature review

- surveys

- enterviews

- focus groups

Across Portugal, Spain and Italy to understand real needs, risks and practices.

We develop a practical, ready-to-use toolkit for youth workers including:

– Ethical AI guidelines

– Risk assessment tools

– Co-design methodologies

– Practical AI applications
